The NEWS is out!! Miss Drill Utah Solo Championship is the solo event of the season!!
We are opening our registration to ALL Drill Soloists regardless of age, classification, or style of routine. Register by your classification and your style. You can ONLY register for ONE solo this year, so pick the solo that best showcases YOU!! This will allow more drill soloists to participate in this amazing event!!
Placements will be awarded in each classification and each style category.
Top Finalists will be announced once scores have been combined from all classifications and styles…. only the Top Finalists will move forward to compete for the Over-All Title of Miss Drill Utah.
REMINDER: Only those Soloists who are “competing” members of their team are eligible to move forward in the finals round as a TOP TEN FINALIST and potentially win the title of MISS DRILL UTAH. However, any eligible drill team member (BOY or GIRL) is invited to compete in the preliminary round. Awards and placements for each classification and category will be announced following the preliminary round. The Top Ten Finalists will also be announced at the end of Preliminary Awards. All soloists are encouraged and invited to stay to watch the Finals Round for the title of Miss Drill Utah!! Support our fellow soloists and friends!!!

Finalist Onstage Question attire requirements:
All finalists need to wear professional attire which can be a dress (not too short), a skirt outfit, dress pants and a blouse, or a pant suit. Anything you choose that will look professional and classy is acceptable. No formal wear such as pageant gowns or ball gowns.
Finalist Spotlight attire requirements:
All finalists need to wear a black leotard of your choice. It may be sleeveless, short sleeve, long sleeve, etc.. Any style of leotard is acceptable. However, no “bling”, sequin, or color enhancements are allowed. Everything MUST be all black. You are allowed to have mesh or lace as part of the leotard as long as it is black.
You can also choose to wear something black on the bottom half of your body. You are not required to wear something, but you are allowed to wear black tights, leggings, bike shorts, or hot shorts. Whatever you choose to wear on the bottom must be form fitting (nothing baggy) and must be appropriate black dance attire. You can also choose to wear a black form fitting unitard.
Dance shoes of your choice may be worn, but they must be either black or a nude/pale pink color. It is also acceptable to be barefoot if you so choose.
No jewelry or hair pieces are allowed for the Spotlight.
**NOTE – ONLY the top finalists will be doing the Spotlight and the Informal Onstage Question. Preliminary Miss Drill Utah Competition is SOLO routine only. This also applies to the TEEN division.
