MISS DRILL UTAH HUMANITARIAN PROJECT ’25-26 – HUNTSMAN CANCER INSTITUTE PROJECT
On behalf of the Miss Drill Utah program and our ’24-25 Winner, Harlee Ruoti, who took the lead and organized this wonderful humanitarian project … we want to say THANK YOU to all of you who so generously participated and donated items to help cancer victums who are going through their rigorous chemo treatments. It was a wonderful success and all your donationed items have been delivered to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Harlee met with the Huntsman Cancer Institute volunteer coordinator, Christopher Moss, and was able to deliver all the wonderful things that had been donated!! Christopher said that the institute was so grateful for all the donationed items!! There were so many items donated and one in particular stood out to Christopher…. there was a lot of laundry detergent donated and Chris said that no one has ever donated laundry detergent before and they really needed it!! It’s just a reminder that you just never now what’s needed and anything can turn out to be a blessing!
Chris did mention that the Huntsmand Cancer Institute was still desperately in need of more hats and head scarves, so if anyone is looking for a good Christmas Service Project I know they would love more donated hats and head scarves.
You can contact Christopher through this email: Volunteerservices@hci.utah.edu
THANK YOU AGAIN for your participation in this wonderful Humanitarian Project!!
